Norman Hallett from The Disciplined Trader Intensive Program: I've been keeping an eye on Dustin Pass and his Oracle Software, which grabs pips upon the release of a major report. When these major reports come out, like, for instance, tomorrow's UK Retail Sales, the market will either SPIKE up or CRASH down. The thing about Oracle, is that it doesn't care what happens after the initial spike/crash... because it hasyou out of the market within seconds of getting in.
It takes advantage of ONLY the initial move immediately upon the report coming out. Sometimes, as you know, these FLASH moves after the release of a report can be huge. Oracle is very accurate with which direction to go with upon release. If you've been interested in Dustin's Oracle Software, this would be a perfect time to grab it, before tomorrow's report (the software installs quickly, so you'll be ready for tomorrow)...
I see the Oracle being used as an add-on to the main system you are trading. It's really a non-correlated trading method to your main method and doesn't take time away from running your main trading system because it's only activates for report releases. I've never seen anything like it. I usually stand aside when a report comes out. Not any more... Just because the above people had success, it doesn't mean you will. But it's nice to know that some are winning who are just taking signals from the Oracle. Judge for yourself.
